Kingdom Reign

Kingdom reign, kingdom reign
. Jesus is reigning from His kingdom above.
 Don't look to the world to bring his reign in.
 King Jesus will come and take us home

 Don't look at the kings and queens of this world
 King Jesus shall reign in new heavens above
He's coming one day to take us home.

To his glorious kingdom above
 King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
 Lord quickly let your kingdom come.
 Your will be done upon this earth.

Lord quickly bring your kingdom in.
You reign supreme above the earth.
 You are crowned with majesty.
Above every power, above every rule.

 Almighty Jesus, living one.
 Kingdoms may rise and kingdoms may fall.
 But the kingdom of God has no end.
 One day we will see him as His bride.

 Run on the clouds, on a white horse He will ride
There will be no where to run, and no where to hide.
 We will all be changed in the flick of an eye.
Then all his people with a mighty cry.
Will lift His mighty standard high.

Kneeling before the cross of Christ
My heart cries out tonight
 For all the sick and sorrowing
 The lost, the lonely, the scared

 I see his mother standing too
 Beneath this cruel dark cross
No mind could fully comprehend
 The grief she felt that night

 The soldiers mocking on the ground
 The people jeering in the crowd
 The disciples confused and feeling let down
 Not seeing beyond the cross

 A lonely tomb, they buried him
 And the solders thought they had won
 They had stopped the fret on the empire
 But then the third day drew near

 I see before me an empty tomb
And Jesus is standing here
I see the nail prints in his hands
I see the nail prints in his feet

 And now I see the victory
 Of new and resurrections life
I see the love within his eyes
 And I feel his loving touch

This Easter time as we celebrate
 With chocolate, buns and sweets
 Please look to the cross where he died for you
It will surely change your life

My precious child Said Jesus to the child on bended knee With his head resting on his hands I’m searching for peace And joy, and love And a nice bowl of porridge When I awake I’m seeking for peace For mum and dad To let the fighting stop So we can be together again I’m seeking for grace And forgiveness again For chasing the cat And scaring the bird I’m seeking to serve you To give you my heart To tell all my friends How precious you are I’m seeking your healing For my Nan who is sick I know you reach down From the heavens above I’m seeking patience In church tomorrow To sit through the sermon Without making a noise My son you are precious And special to me I have heard your prayers Now leave it to me
